Our Soan Papdi

Mainpuri's flaky, hand-pulled Soan Papdi

Brijwasi traditional Soan Papdi, Mainpuri

The family's sweet-making tradition dates back to the 1800s, as told by the Brijwasi family. The Brijwasi brand was officially established in 1987.

Our Soan Papdi is made the traditional way: gram flour roasted in desi ghee, sugar syrup pulled by hand into fine threads, then folded into airy layers finished with cardamom and pistachio.

That craft earned recognition as Best Soan Papdi of Mainpuri at Dainik Jagran's Taste of Uttar Pradesh, and represented Mainpuri at ODOC and UPITS 2026.
